The Clayton County Water Authority will host several Small Local Business Enterprise Program workshops in August and September. The workshops are aimed at helping firms learn about the authority’s certification process and procurement opportunities. The August 20 workshop will be from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Sept. 6 Fall event will run from 10 am. to noon. Doors open at 9 a.m. for networking and refreshments. The September monthly workshop will be Sept. 17 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. All events will be held in the authority’s Community Use Room at its headquarters, 1600 Battle Creek Road in Morrow. The events are open to Clayton-based firms as well as those in the 10 continguous counties to Clayton. Registration is required.
