Rep. Stovall to host town hall on Opportunity School District

State Rep. Valencia Stovall, D-Lake City, will host an Oct. 29 town hall on the proposed Opportunity School District also known as Amendment 1 on the Nov. 8 ballot. The 10: 30 a.m. event will be at AMC Southlake 24 movie theater complex, 7065 Mt. Zion Circle in Morrow. The town hall is a chance to share your thoughts on how the quality of education can improve for more than 68,000 Georgia students in failing schools. In addition to the town hall, participants also will get a free matinee-priced ticket to a movie of their choice. Tickets are limited. Registration is required at www.saveourschools.us.
