A supply chain company is coming to Henry County and bringing 34 jobs with it.

GFA, a provider of logistics solutions from Valley, Ala., will operate a 300,000-square-foot facility in McDonough that will distribute products for South Korean electronics giant LG.

“It is an honor to grow with Henry County and its residents,” Daniel Skipworth, executive director of GFA Total Logistic Solutions, said in a release. “With the ever-growing demand for competitive logistic solutions, GFA is dedicated to continue to enhance and improve its service to our customers and the community.”

The company is the latest to find a home in Henry County this month. Henry announced two weeks ago that consumer goods giant General Mills is expanding its facilities in the county with an $8.5 million distribution center in McDonough.

“Henry County is a global destination for logistics operations,” said Leonard Sledge, executive director of the Henry County Development Authority. “The presence of companies like GFA and LG Electronics continue to demonstrate that Henry County is a prime global location for business.”
