On the second anniversary of the Braves shocking move that the team would move out of downtown Atlanta and into a new suburban Cobb County stadium, SunTrust Park is beginning to take shape.

The major heavy construction aspects of the stadium — the concrete and steel work — are each expected to be completed by February. And crews have now begun work on the $450 million mixed-use development adjacent to the stadium.
