Several law enforcement officials, as well as state and local elected officials, are expected to attend the event, which will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at World Changers (in the teen building), 2500 Burdett Rd.
The town hall meeting will address concerns surrounding recent incidents in which two African-American men were shot and killed by police.
Protest have erupted in Charlotte after the death of Keith Lamont Scott. The 43-year-old man was shot and killed last week by Charlotte police. Days earlier, Terence Crutcher , 40, an unarmed black man died in an officer-involved shooting in Tulsa, Okla.
