Spring is in the air, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy it. Visiting Atlanta Botanical Gardens, which has been nominated for a reader's choice award, could be added to your spring to-do list.

The attraction has been named as one of the greatest in America as part of USA Today's 10Best Reader's Choice Awards. It's up against 19 others, including the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and the Chicago Botanical Garden.

The publication’s panel of experts praised all of the plant havens for promoting and conserving plant diversity, “all while showcasing their vast collections in stunning, visitor friendly ways,” the site wrote.

However, only 10 gardens will be included on the 10Best Reader’s Choice list.

ABG, incorporated in 1976, has 30 acres of plants, trees, flowers and other greenery. Located adjacent to Piedmont Park, its mission is to "develop and maintain plant collections for the purposes of display, education, conservation, research and enjoyment," according to its website.

Throughout the year, it hosts several popular events, including the holiday light show, the scarecrow attraction and many other exhibits.
