Pregnancy can take a toll on a woman's body, causing back and knee pain. It also can alter the appearance of the skin, stretching it and causing marks.

So when Jon Harb's wife was pregnant with their first child they both researched lots of ingredients and products that will help to prevent stretch marks, which later turned into a successful company.
"We researched lots of ingredients and products and ultimately decided to launch our own product with a natural/organic focus," said Harb.
Before Bella B, the company was called Tummy Honey in 1999 and was used to prevent stretch marks and fading.
Harb, being an entrepreneur, grew the business successfully but later changed the name to Bella B.
"Our logo has always been our mama bee," said Harb. "In time, we added more products for mom and baby, so decided to change the name to Bella B, which I felt was a broader name for a more complete line of products, yet still tied together with our visual logo, the mama bee."
The products are all natural and organic with no animal by-products, parabens, lanolin or mineral oil. Today Bella B, which signifies "beautiful bee," has more than 27 products including cream for stretch marks, breastfeeding, body, face, post-pregnancy healing, bath care, etc. Products are sold at very reasonable prices, ranging from $0.50-29.99 and can be purchased at the California storefront or online.

This family-owned company may be 17 years old, but it is still coming up with new products that will be available for both Mom and baby.
"We're launching a detangler, hair conditioner, natural bug repellent and more in the works," said Harb. "I've changed the corporate name to Bella Brands Inc., as we now also offer our new My Little Seat travel high chair and are imminently launching our very high end Italian Baby & Beyond diaper bags."
