An employee of Miami Dade County Animal Services was in for a shock Thursday morning when she arrived at work.
In the parking lot, Teresa Donnelly saw a Tupperware container with the lid shut.
Braving the rain, she took a closer look at the container.
When she opened the lid, she found a small, soaking wet dog. Animal control staff members believe the dog is a Yorkshire Terrier, and is approximately 10 years old.

It is not known how long the dog was in the container or her current health status. There is also no word on whether the dog had a microchip.
Dogs on the Move, a local rescue transport organization, is running a Facebook campaign to find a home or rescue for the dog.
The rescue organization has named the dog Gabriel.
