Lil Nas X has a history of inspiring even his youngest fans.

Earlier this year, he surprised elementary school kids with a live performance of "Old Town Road."

And in June, the Atlanta rapper's hit song even inspired a nonverbal autistic boy in Minnesota to sing out the catchy lyrics.

And now, the 20-year-old’s whirlwind year wraps up, he is paying it forward again. This time, to kids right here in Atlanta.

In time for the holidays, the Lithia Springs High School grad surprised kids at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with gifts and Christmas carols.

The visit was part of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. A post on the foundation’s website said Lil Nas X spent time signing autographs, fielding questions from the young patients and playing truth or dare.

When one patient asked him how many shoes he has in his closest, the rapper said, ““well, last year I had maybe 3 pair of shoes and this year, I can’t even count how many are in my closet.”

On Instagram, the hospital wrote that it was “a wonderful afternoon.”

The rapper also visited the hospital in September, when he gave his famed "cowboy hat from Gucci" to Elijah, an 11-year-old boy with sickle cell disease.

He wasn’t the hospital’s only famous visitor this holiday season.

Atlanta native Ludacris once again stopped by for his annual “LudacrisMas,” which he has done for the last six years.

Niall Horan, of One Direction fame, also paid the Atlanta hospital a visit this holiday season.
