Singer and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast regular Kandi Burruss turned to Instagram to poke fun at her back-in-the-day ‘do.

Burruss told fans she decided to give them a laugh since the internet was burning up with comments - pro and con - about the half-cornrowed hairstyle on a black Barbie doll.

It’s nearly identical to a style worn by Burruss  about 14 years ago.

Last week, Hulu premiered “Tiny Shoulders: Rethinking Barbie,” a documentary by Andrea Nevins ,which follows efforts to transform Barbie into a more 21st-century doll.

The Barbie Style Instagram account promoted it with a picture of three Barbie dolls sitting in front of a laptop.

Two of the dolls are white with long hair pulled back in ponytails. The third Barbie is black with part of her hair in dark cornrows and the rest with flowing blondish red tresses.

Fans had fun with it too.

talietal wrote: “Barbie owe you a check for that hair inspo tho.”

susancnw weighed in, too. “I like it on both of you, but I have to admit, you rocked it better.”
