The pop group American Authors got so involved in waving to the crowd from their Macy’s thanksgiving Day Parade float that they forgot to hold their microphones up to start pretending to sing when the music started.
The moment was caught on camera during NBC’s coverage of the parade. The producer cut away quickly, but not quickly enough to cover up the error, which a viewer promptly posted to Youtube:
