Holiday markets, visit from Santa, even some ways to get some exercise while enjoying the holiday spirit. To help you plan your weekend, here are five things to do in or near Peachtree City.

Hometown Holiday. Santa is coming to City Hall Plaza. Children's activities, an appearance by Santa and live performances will occupy your imagination until the ceremonial lighting of Peachtree City's Christmas tree. Scheduled performers include Huddleston Elementary School Chorus, Music Alive, The Stage Music Academy, and Legacy Dance. 5 p.m. Dec. 6, 2014. City Hall Plaza, 151 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City. "The Snow Queen." A new treatment of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Snow Queen," the fairy tale that provided the source material for Disney's computer-animated blockbuster, "Frozen."
