Finding time to hit the gym or squeeze in a solid hour-long workout during the workday isn't as easy as it looks.

But with this science-backed seven-minute workout based on the idea of interval training, you can throw that excuse out of the window.

The seven-minute routine has proven to be so incredibly successful that the New York Times created a free app with the workout for fitness on the go.
