Young Chefs Academy, a local favorite for children’s cooking classes that encourages discovery and creativity, will host “Back to School” open house events at its two metro Atlanta locations this fall in partnership with Food Network Magazine.

Children and their parents are invited to explore their creative culinary sides and participate in unique cooking experiences during each event. Sponsored by the California Grape Board, Sara Lee and Horizon Organic Milk, the event will allow children to create back-to-school snack recipes, learn kitchen safety tips, enjoy samples and win fun prizes.

Representatives from Young Chefs Academy will be on hand to discuss classes and curriculum, special events and programs with interested parents

The events, set for Aug. 29 at the North Druid Hills location and Sept. 20 on Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs, will feature fun learning stations, giveaways, and will highlight the courses and events Young Chefs Academy can offer to Atlanta-area children.

Both open houses run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
