If you’re going to make room in your diet for one Atlanta doughnut, a national listing has made the case for one doughy, creme-filled local favorite.

Travelocity gathered its team of "fried dough fanatics" to scour each of the 50 U.S. states for the best doughnut shops in America. Travelocity's "The Best Doughnut Shops in All 50 States" list includes a mix of new spots, like Delaware's Gooey Donuts, which has mastered the doughnut meets gummy bear treat, and classic doughnut shops, including a veteran Illinois shop with a simple but fitting name Old Fashioned Donuts.

Sublime Doughnuts, which has locations in Midtown and North Druid Hills, got top honors due to its variety of doughnuts that even capture special occasions like birthdays, according to Travelocity. The doughnut shop was named the best shop in Georgia.

Here’s what the site’s writers had to say:

"Just call Sublime Doughnuts at one of its two Atlanta locations 24 hours in advance to create a memorable treat from the letters and flavors of your choice. With doughnut "burgers" (ice cream sandwiches with doughnuts in place of cookies) available in flavors like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and white chocolate peach, even an ordinary day feels like a special occasion."
