Ahmadiyya Muslim Community hosts blood drive in honor of 9/11 victims

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Georgia Chapter will hold its annual blood drive to honor 9/11 victims on Saturday at the Baitul Ata Mosque, 1800 Willow Trail Parkway in Norcross.

Chapters nationwide will participate in the campaign, in which the organization hopes to collect 10,000 pints of blood nationally.

The Muslims for Life Blood Drive will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The campaign was initially launched in 2011, and  ran in over 200 locations and resulted in 11,803 pints being collected that year. To date, “Muslims for Life” has collected more  60,000 pints of blood .
