The 26th Annual Cherokee County Indian Festival and Mother's Day Pow -Wow will be held Saturday and Sunday at Boling Park in Canton.

The event is a chance to learn more about Native American history through entertainment, education and cultural performances and fellowship. There will be Native American dancers, drummers, jewelry, skills demonstrations and Native American cuisine.

The pow-wow and festival will be held at the park, 1098 Marietta Highway, from 10 a.m. to p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets range from $5 to $15. Children five years old and younger are admitted free. No pets are allowed and the events will be held rain or shine.
