All customers at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. stores will receive a free original glazed doughnut on Election Day.

As the country gears up for the mid-term election on November 8, one major chain is making the day a little better before it even starts. When you make your voice heard in this election you can get a free doughnut.

Krispy Kreme is known for giving away free doughnuts on many occasions — from birthdays, for holidays and simply to show appreciation for its customer appreciation.

“A healthy, vibrant democracy depends on engaged citizens who vote. We’re happy to celebrate voters and our democracy by giving everyone a free Original Glazed doughnut on Election Day,” Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, explained.

The popular chain also just announced their Thanksgiving Mini Pies Collection — including pumpkin pie, peach pie, dutch apple pie and lemon cream pie flavored doughnuts.
