The Home Depot Backyard’s Piedmont Healthcare Summer Movie Series will kick off on June 17, with a Juneteenth celebration.

“Entertainment for this year’s Juneteenth celebration at The Home Depot Backyard will be headlined by a prime time showing on center lawn of ‘The Wiz.’ Immediately following the movie screening will be a laser light show, which will be projected on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium façade and feature special Juneteenth-inspired visuals and music,” the venue announced in a press release.

The Truist Vendor Village will feature Black-owned businesses and vendors fromaround the Atlanta area.

This year SweetWater Brewing will host an interactive beer garden in collaboration with Atlantucky Brewery, which is owned by hip-hop group Nappy Roots. For every pint sold, a donation will be made to Ch8sing Waterfalls, a non-profit focused on empowering women of color.

This event is fun for the entire family with attractions including:
