Disney released the long-awaited teaser trailer for their upcoming Halloween comedy, “Hocus Pocus 2,” which will feature all three original Sanderson Sisters. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are all reprising their roles as the soul-sucking sisters for the sequel to the 1993 film, which will stream on Disney+ later this year.

“Lock up your children,” shouts Midler in the trailer after she and her sisters are resurrected. “Yes, Salem we’re back!”

The teaser starts with three high school girls, preparing for their Halloween birthday ritual. After meeting with a magic shop owner, played by Veep’s Sam Richardson, the girls end up in the woods where they perform a ritual with the Black Flame Candle from the first film and awaken the Sanderson Sisters.

“It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge,” said the film’s description. “Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”

The film is directed by Anne Fletcher, who also directed Netflix’s “Dumplin’”

This sequel has been a long time coming, with the stars and fans alike have discussing the possibility for years. It became even more exciting for fans after it was announced that Midler, Parker and Najimy would all be reprising their starring roles.

Tony Hale, Doug Jones, Froy Gutierrez and Hannah Waddingham are all set to appear in the film as well. Hale, who’s played beloved characters in “Veep” and “Arrested Development,” will feature as the mayor of Salem.

The movie will be available on Disney+ starting September 30, just in time for the spookiest month.
