Britney Spears is pregnant with her third child. The star, 40, made the announcement on her Instagram account on Monday.

Spears noted that she “obviously won’t be going out as much due (sic) to the paps getting their money 💴 shot of me 📸 like they unfortunately already have.”

Spears and her longtime boyfriend, actor and personal trainer Sam Asghari, announced their engagement in September 2021. The pair dated for five years beforehand.

The pop star was released from a 13-year-long court-ordered conservatorship in November, after a legal battle with her father. According to Spears’ testimony in the matter, the conservators would not allow her to remove an intrauterine device (IUD) in order to have more children. She also claimed she was forced to take medications against her will.

This will be Spears’ third child. She has two children, Sean and Jayden James, with former husband Kevin Federline.
