You'll find plenty going on in DeKalb this weekend, whether you'd like to bring your dog on a run or practice your yoga moves and meditate among the dinosaurs.

The following are a sample of the events going on this weekend in DeKalb:

Run with the Dogs 5K. 8:30 a.m. one-mile Pup Trot and 9 a.m. 5K run/walk. Saturday, Jan. 12. $30-$35. Decatur High School, 310 N. McDonough St., Decatur. http://www.rwtd5k.com/.

Run or walk the 5K and or one-mile Pup Trot with or without your canine companion. All proceeds will help fund sports programs at Decatur High School and Renfroe Middle School.

Perimeter Flutes. 3-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. Decatur Library, 215 Sycamore St., Decatur. http://events.dekalblibrary.org/event/1412343.

The Perimeter Flutes quartet is in residence at Georgia State University at Perimeter and shares the cultural diversity of flute music during this performance.

Past Meets Presence: Yoga + Meditation. 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Fernbank Museum of Natural History, 767 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta. 404-929-6300. https://www.fernbankmuseum.org/.

Practice yoga movement and meditation amid the prehistoric dinosaurs in the Fernbank Museum's Great Hall. The class is suitable for all levels, including beginners, and is recommended for ages 14 and up.
