Networking events for young professionals can be fun, like Zoo Atlanta's annual Jazzoo event.

Under 40 years old? Atlanta has a strong young professionals scene that combines networking, career advice and doing good. This autumn, the calendar is filled with events so be sure to RSVP early and order a refill of your business cards.

Cobb Young Professionals Speaker Program (August 27, 2015) – GE Chief Technology Officer Steve Hartman will spend the evening speaking about succeeding in leading in the face of adversity. There will be time before the program for networking. Free for members, $20 for non-members.

Cobb Young Professionals Leadership Luncheon (September 3, 2015) – Enjoy lunch and networking while listening to a presentation from Dr. Jack Llewellyn, founder and president of the Atlanta-based Center for Winning Performance who worked with John Smoltz in the 90s.

Atlanta Under 40 at Tongue & Groove (September 10, 2015) – Mix and mingle at one of Atlanta's most well known night clubs while enjoying appetizers, $5 wine specials, giveaways and a take home a contact list with the information of who attended the event. Admission is $10 per person in advance and $20 at the door.

YPs Take Monster Drawing Rally (September 12, 2015) – Come one, come all! Join 75 artists, some of whom were featured in Sprawl! Drawing Outside the Lines, will be creating art live in the Robinson Atrium at the High Museum of Art as young professionals mix and mingle.

UGA v. Vanderbilt Game Watching Party (September 12, 2015) – There is no need to watch the game by yourself! Join fellow UGA alumni at this event at this UGA Alumni Association event at Big Sky in Buckhead. There is no cost to attend.

Jazzoo (September 12, 2015) – What's that you hear? It's the sounds of a fun, music-filled evening of networking while raising money to support a good cause. Zoo Atlanta plays host as thirty of Atlanta's restaurants provide food, an open bar and four stages of live music throughout the evening. Individual tickets are $100 each and VIP tickets are $150 each.

Gwinnett Young Professionals Launch Party (September 15, 2015) – There's a new event to add to your calendar if you work in Gwinnett. Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) are invited to Eagle Rock Distributing Company for the first Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce GYP event. Tickets are $5 online in advance and $10 at the door.

Strategic Voluteering (September 23, 2015) – If you want volunteering to be part of your networking strategy but aren't quite sure where to start, Strategic Volunteering presented by the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. $5 for YNPN Atlanta Members and $10 for non-members.
