Tom Bergeron is stepping aside to make room for a new host , and Carlton is coming to the rescue!
Best known for his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, as well as winning season 19 on Dancing with the Stars, Alfonso Ribeiro has been named as the new host of America's Funniest Home Videos, Entertainment Tonight has reported.
Ribeiro will usher in the 26th season of the show, ABC's longest-running primetime entertainment franchise, this fall.
Bob Saget was the first one way back in 1989. Saget hosted until 1997. He was followed by John Fugelsang and Daisy Fuentes in 1998 and finally Tomb Bergeron who took over in 2001.
