Love the nightlife? If you live in the core counties that make up metro Atlanta, you're in luck. Even the areas better known for amusement park or farmers market entertainment boast adults-only venues that are open until 2 a.m. or later where you can dance the night away. The club scene is always alive and well inside the perimeter as well.

Fulton County 

Sanctuary Night Club

Atlanta’s longest-running Latin night club brings DJ dance parties and lots of conversation areas to Buckhead. Sanctuary hosts its ever-popular Latin Saturdays starting at 9 p.m.

Havannah Club ATL

3112 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta. 404-941-4847

A Buckhead trendsetter since 1996, this is the place to go for Latin sounds and spin-house dance parties at a sleek, swervy venue. 

Cigar City Club

5006 Roswell Road NE, Atlanta. 404-843-8826

Members and guests enjoy a 1920s speakeasy vibe at this vivid celebration of the cigar-loving lifestyle. The gathering gets going in the early evening and lasts past midnight, fueled by fine spirits and live entertainment. 

Chaplins

Metro Atlanta nightlife would be incomplete without a late-night DJ-hosted karaoke spot, and this one is also a great place to nosh on burgers and sip signature cocktails.

Cherokee County

Ice Martini Bar

This signature sushi and dessert restaurant and lounge is sparkly and the dance floor rocks to contemporary pop and hip hop after the dinner crowd heads out. Ice is only open into the wee hours (well, 2 a.m.) on Friday and Saturday. It's a cool spot in the historic downtown of tiny Woodstock. 

Cobb County

 Blue Mist Cafe, Cocktail Bar and Lounge

Mixologist-crafted martinis, a carefully curated wine list, tapas and a lounge combine to create a smooth nightlife option far from Buckhead but still in the metro area.

SuBourbon Bar and Social Club

Kennesaw Plaza, 2718 Summers Street, Kennesaw. 770-726-2163

SuBourbon has lots of energy even late at night. Live music, a raw bar, pool and karaoke mean each patron has options. One of the few spots for night owls in Cobb County, SuBourbon often stays open until 3:30 a.m. Keep an eye out for the deejay and poker on Industry Night Sundays.

DeKalb County 

10 High Club

816 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta. 404-873-3607

If you don't even think of ambling out until 9 p.m., this is your type of ATL night club. Oh, and if you like metal-ish local and regional acts. They carry on until 3 a.m. Monday to Saturday.

Club Bolts

Decatur's upbeat DJ dance club is only for those 25 and up.

The S.O.S. Tiki Bar

Secluded and open until 2 a.m., the S.O.S. has a mid-mod vibe and serves retro drinks for the late night crowd. 

Phaze One

Dance, dance, dance at this gay-friendly nightclub with DJ parties and pool. Just don't go early: It opens at 10:30 p.m. and doesn't close till 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Gwinnett County 

Eastside Station

This over-the-top party bar in Gwinnett County features multiple bars and vibrant music. Every Wednesday Eastside Station transforms into a locals lounge, and Q99.7 broadcasts live from the venue on Saturday nights. 

Theory Restaurant and Lounge 

3695 Club Drive, Suite B, Duluth. 470-719-9900

City vibe meets Southern swagger at Theory, with its elegant interior and live entertainment. Definitely a place to dress to impress (though casual's cool too), the night club is known for live R & B and staying open until 2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
