Another week, another record.

Atlanta rapper Lil Nas X's breakout hit "Old Town Road" ties the record for most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, with 16.

“Old Town Road” shares the record with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber; and Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day."

It also leads the Streaming Songs chart for a 16th week — which also ties a record — equaling the run of "Despacito."

“Old Town Road” was streamed in the U.S. 86.2 million times last week, a 22% boost that Billboard said likely came from another remix, with Atlanta rapper Young Thug and Mason Ramsey.

The song set the record for the top streaming week (143 million) after the April 5 remix with Billy Ray Cyrus, who has been billed on 15 of the song's 16 weeks atop the Hot 100, and owns nine of the 11 biggest streaming frames to date, including the top three, acccording to Billboard.

If Lil Nas X can check off a couple of female stars on his remix wish list, he might be able to keep the momentum going. The rapper, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, tweeted to both Mariah Carey and Dolly Parton about joining him for new versions of the song, and both seem open to the idea.

The 20-year-old, who graduated from Lithia Springs High School, first made headlines when Billboard quietly removed “Old Town Road” — which has elements of trap music, country and R&B — from its Hot Country Songs chart, saying it wasn’t country enough. Lil Nas X remixed the song, asking Cyrus to join him on the track.

With so much success, Lil Nas X was named one of Time’s 25 most influential people on the internet.
