"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is gone from the TLC lineup amid allegations the former beauty queen's mom is dating a convicted child molester, but the Boo Boo Nation is demanding a new reboot, presumably minus the embattled "Mama June" Shannon.
"Give Sugar Bear and Poodle their own show" is the title of this online petition. Meanwhile, a new Facebook page titled "Make TLC Keep Honey Boo Boo" has been launched.
Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson is Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson's father, and Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson is her uncle. Poodle got into a pointed online brawl with his brother's former partner after she posted a video denying the recent allegations.
Then Poodle took down the back-and-forth feuding, and Mama June took down her "truth video."
In a previous post, Poodle hinted at possible future irons in the fire, which would delight the fans who have taken the time to sign the online petition.
"Giving Sugar Bear and Poodle their own show will keep the show going and not allow other stars in the show to be punished for one cast member's actions," it reads.
"Sugar Bear has gone above and beyond expectations of any man and father in raising not only his child but others as well, he was publicly humiliated continuously by the cast member which caused the Honey Boo Boo show to become canceled. ... TLC, give the public what they want."
TLC hasn't commented publicly beyond a statement confirming the show was canceled. But the network hasn't taken down the show's official Facebook page or Twitter account.
