Dulce Vegan Bakery reopening

After temporarily closing in April for renovations, Dulce Vegan Bakery & Cafe will reopen this summer with the debut of its newly expanded Kirkwood location. During the hiatus, owners Howell Belser and Idalys Sansores made changes to the space, including streamlining the kitchen and updating the front of the house with a new counter and window seating. The organic, plant-based cafe menu will include favorites such as cinnamon rolls and scones, plus seasonal soups, sandwiches and salads made with organic, local and fair-trade ingredients. Look for local coffee from Batdorf and Bronson roasters and organic loose leaf tea from Art of Tea. 1994 Hosea L. Williams Drive N.E., Atlanta. 404-624-7417, dulcevegan.com.
