Star Provisions, Bacchanalia relocating

Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison's Atlanta food institutions, Star Provisions and Bacchanalia, will move from the Westside Provisions District to a new, custom-built location at the Ellsworth Office Lofts in 2017. "We are committed to the Westside and the timing is right for us to have our own stand-alone building for these two concepts," Quatrano said in a press release. Star Provisions To-Go will remain in its current location at Westside Provisions, but another of Quatrano and Harrison's Westside restaurants, Little Bacch, will close. starprovisions.com.

Pub 71 in Brookhaven closed

After 10 years in business, Pub 71, a neighborhood Irish bar in Brookhaven, closed on May 21. The bar featured Irish, British and local craft beer, but the menu skewed toward pub grub with a Southern accent, including homemade mac-and-cheese and Southern fried chicken and biscuits. The pub hosted a “last dance” party on its final day. “There are tons of great memories, traditions and events we have held at pub over the years and we wanted to have a chance to celebrate them,” owner Robert Adamo wrote on the Pub 71 Facebook page.
