What’s new on metro Atlanta dining scene

American Food and Beverage is set to open Jan. 13 in Buckhead Atlanta, which marks the second location of the Fort Worth, Texas-based restaurant, "celebrating modern American cuisine and cocktails inspired by regional ingredients and technique." Capriotti’s open in Duluth

Capriotti's, a Las Vegas-based sandwich shop with over 100 locations, is open in Duluth, the first of three franchise locations planned for Atlanta. T.I. to open Atlanta restaurant

According to a press release, Atlanta rapper T.I. is set to open a restaurant in downtown Atlanta: “The renovation and refurbishing process of the landmark property is well underway, as plans for the new upscale Southern cuisine restaurant unfold.” An official announcement is planned for the coming weeks. But several local blogs, including What Now Atlanta, report the location as the shuttered Vibe Restaurant and Lounge at 30 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd.

Tin Lizzy’s coming to Duluth

Tin Lizzy's Cantina is expanding again, with a new location on Sugarloaf Parkway set to open Jan. 27. It will be the eighth metro restaurant for the Atlanta "FlexMex" concept, which features outdoor seating, specialty cocktails and a menu of soft tacos, shareable dips, salads and cast-iron skillets.
