Wayback Burgers is planning its third restaurant in Gwinnett.

The Connecticut-based chain announced this week its plans to open a restaurant at 3264 Buford Drive -- just across Ga. 20 from the Mall of Georgia -- this fall. It has previously opened stores in Lawrenceville and Braselton.

The 1,600-square-foot Buford location will feature "a warm red barn board interior with white and stainless steel accents, modeled after the great American roadside burger joint," officials said in a news release. It will also feature a patio.
