New 'authentic' pizza joint coming to Mall of Georgia
By Tyler Estep
July 19, 2016The Mall of Georgia is adding yet another new restaurant to its repertoire.
The mall announced recently that Alino Pizzeria — a "true Napoletana pizzeria" with North Carolina roots — will be opening in its Village area this fall. An exact opening date was not provided.
"Based on true Neapolitan pizza techniques and ingredients," the mall said in a news release, "the restaurant features 800-degree ovens, house-made sauces and imported flour, cheese, Citterio pepperoni, sopressata, extra virgin olive oil, truffle oil, canned tomatoes and sea salt straight from Italy for an authentic slice of Naples pie."
Another location is also under construction on Epps Street in Jefferson, according to the pizzeria's website.
The Mall of Georgia location will be near another new restaurant, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill, which is expected to open in August. On the opposite side of the mall, a new Red Robin restaurant is also slated to open soon.
