Coloring books not just for kids anymore, adults use them to relax

Coloring adults are coming out of the closet so to speak.
A group of woman are using the childhood quiet time staple of coloring books to relax and unwind along with their closest friends.
The group, according to KMSP, is called Ladies Love Coloring, and it's those ladies who pull out the colored pencils, intricate coloring books and grab a cup of coffee, or sometimes wine, to color, chat and chill.
Art therapist Craig Balfany said it's healthy to put the crayon or pencils to paper.
"It's very soothing, it's very centering, very focusing, you've got a structure on the page. You have something you can follow the lines or you can be very creative in terms of what direction you go so just in that it's very meditative," Balfany told KMSP.
So what if you want to start your own coloring club?
One group's founder suggested, find a spot like a coffee shop, pick a time once a month, and keep it a judgement free zone. Those are just some of the suggestions, but you can find more here.
