'Precious' Receives Support from Oprah & Tyler Perry

The Oscar buzz-worthy movie 'Precious' -- based on the book Push by Sapphire -- was getting just the push it needed from the film's executive producers Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry at the movie's Toronto Film Festival premiere.
"I'm just trying to ring the bell loudly for 'Precious,'" the talk show host told ET's Thea Andrews.
The film follows the trials faced by Clareece "Precious" Jones (Gabourey Sidibe), an African-American, overweight, illiterate teenage girl living in Harlem, New York. "It moved me, really moved me," Perry said of seeing the movie.
