The Rolling Stones returned to the stage Monday in Oslo, Norway, for the first time since the death in March of L'Wren Scott, the fashion designer who had been singer Mick Jagger's longtime girlfriend.

The band reportedly made no mention of Scott’s death, but reports from the show said there was added poignancy to several of the songs the Stones played, notably “Miss You” and “Worried About You.”

The Stones delivered a two-hour performance.

Reviews of Monday’s performance were enthusiastic.

“Despite all the years, the size of the arena and the giant video screens, the Rolling Stones are still that little blues-rock band from the clubs in London,” wrote the Goteborgs-Posten newspaper in Sweden.

The Stones’ 14 On Fire tour came to a halt in March when Scott was found in hew New York apartment after apparently committing suicide. The band postponed the rest of its tour dates in Australia and New Zealand, which now are set to take place in October and November.
