CNN's Don Lemon plans Atlanta booksigning
CNN's Don Lemon will sign his new memoir, "Transparent," at 7:30 p.m. June 22 at Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse. The anchor, who last year stunned audiences when he said he was molested as a child, revealed he is gay as the book was being released. While he said going public with his orientation was a bit nerve-racking, reaction has been largely supportive, and Lemon has thanked viewers and followers via Twitter for their positive comments. Tickets to the signing at Outwrite, 991 Piedmont Ave., are free with the purchase of a book in advance. In related news, owner and founder Philip Rafshoon said Outwrite is struggling and needs help to stay afloat. "Please let us know if you are willing to share your expertise in web design, social media, marketing, bookkeeping, finance, banking, retail management, retail sales, collections and legal services," Rafshoon wrote in an open letter to the community.
