NORCROSS
The American Flyers at Thrasher Park
The Concert In Thrasher Park series continues with The American Flyers. This rock and R&B party band puts its multiple vocalists to good use by spanning generations and genres. One minute the group does its best Lady Gaga, and the next it’s smooth sailing with Sinatra. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, drink, blankets and lawn chairs. Some choose to grab a to-go meal from one of the surrounding restaurants. When you’re preparing your picnic, pack a few extra canned goods. The event doubles as a canned food drive, which benefits Norcross Co-op Ministries. All donations go to its food pantry.
7:30-9:30 p.m. July 22. Free. Thrasher Park, 100 Park Drive, Norcross. 678-421-2025, www.norcrossga.net.
