MABLETON

Marty Stuart at Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre

Country music luminary Marty Stuart will be taking the stage at this outdoor venue, and bringing the twang. Expect Stuart to be weaving his countrified quilt of rockabilly, honky tonk and old school country complete with live versions of popular cuts such as "Tempted," "Hillbilly Rock" and "Now That's Country." And he'll likely dip into tracks from his latest release, "Nashville, Vol. 1: Tear the Woodpile Down." Here's hoping he'll do it all while donning one of those loud and fancy rhinestone-studded jackets. Reserved seats are available, and guests with lawn seating can bring blankets to sprawl upon. Organizers say to leave the lawn chairs at home. Everyone can bring in picnic baskets and coolers.

8 p.m. Aug. 11. $15-$48; $402 for a table of six. Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, 5239 Floyd Road, Mableton. 770-819-7765, www.mablehouse.org.

DULUTH

Flicks on the Bricks at Duluth Town Green Park

If you hear ABBA hits coming from Duluth Town Green Park, it's not an impromptu reunion of the popular Swedish foursome. The film "Mamma Mia," a musical based around the songs of ABBA, will be shown as part of the city's Flicks on the Bricks series. The movie hits the screen at dusk, and other festivities begin earlier. Kids can cool down in the spray fountain and play games before the show. Some guests pack picnic baskets, and beer and wine are allowed. Concessions will be available, too, and downtown restaurants will be open for to-go orders.

7 p.m. Aug. 11. Free. Duluth Town Green Park, 3142 Hill St., Duluth. 770-476-3434, www.duluthga.net.
