Things have been awfully quiet on the Blake Shelton/Miranda Lambert front as of late. The were quiet, at least, until Shelton showed up on the syndicated radio show "The Bobby Bones Show" on Wednesday.
“In Oklahoma, it happens so fast,” Shelton said about his quickie divorce to Lambert.
“Miranda and I didn’t have any kids, and we had a pre-nuptial agreement. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in a nine or ten day waiting period.”
Shelton also addressed rumors of his relationship prior to the official divorce announcement back in July.
“We knew if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that because by the time anybody knew anything, it was over. It was done,” Shelton added. “Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this. It is what it is. We’re buddies.”
Shelton recently performed in Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry on September 22 and at a “once-in-a-lifetime” Music Row concert on the evening of September 23.
