What: Sandy Springs second annual Veterans Day Tribute

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Morgan Falls Overlook Park; park at North Springs United Methodist Church, 7770 Roswell Road, for shuttle.

DeKalb County

What: Dunwoody Veterans Day ceremony

When: 2 p.m.

Where: Brook Run Park, 4770 N. Peachtree Road

Cobb County

What: Marietta Veterans Day parade

When: 11 a.m.

Where: Starts at Roswell Street Baptist Church, 774 Roswell St., and ends with a ceremony at noon on the Marietta Square.

What: Powder Springs American Legion Post 294 Veterans Day Ceremony

When: 11 a.m.

Where: Powder Springs Veterans Memorial in front of the library, 4181 Atlanta St.

In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Ford Center behind the library.
