Bristol at Briarcliff

The homeowner: A friend of software consultant Steven Linder, who purchased a townhome built by Ashton Woods Homes in Vinings last fall, suggested he look at Bristol at Briarcliff because of the floor plans and pricing deals. The location immediately stood out because it was “tucked away” in unincorporated DeKalb County but still close to I-85, said Linder, who worked with Jim Whelan, an agent with Keller Williams Realty First Atlanta. Linder, 43, was sold when he learned about the option to turn the bottom floor into a family room, with space for his 58-inch flat screen TV and a sectional sofa. Other townhomes had already made that space into a third bedroom that he didn’t need. “I really liked the idea of getting it when it was being built so you can pick things you want,” he said. Plus, the gated feature gives him an extra sense of security.
