Two officer involved shootings have taken over social media this week with reactions to the deaths of Terence Crutcher, 40, last Friday in Tulsa, Okla. and Keith Lamont Scott, 43, on Tuesday in Charlotte, NC .

Both men were shot by police officers who have both been placed on administrative leave.

Residents in Tulsa and Charlotte took to the streets in protest, while others took to social media making the names of the deceased men, the newest trending hashtags:

Yesterday, while the biggest news on social media was the divorce proceedings of celebrity couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, many people (famous and not famous) took the opportunity to point out how frivolous Americans have become in their concerns:

On Wednesday morning, the hashtags named for the men who were killed, continued trending as politicians -- most notably Donald Trump -- offered comment on the events and as a press conference in Charlotte revealed more details about Scott's death.
