Pavel Stuchlik, the man who launched Orangetheory Fitness in Atlanta, is back with a new, high-tech yoga studio.
Atmasphere -- 'Atma' means 'soul' in Hindi -- is the largest yoga studio in the Southeast with two levels covering 10,000 square feet. It features some of the most innovative technology in fitness.
Visitors can enjoy two heated yoga rooms, one private practice room, a meditation hall (with Sound Off headphones), a cycling room and gender specific locker rooms.
Atmasphere is currently among the only studios in Atlanta where guests can find the Sound Off technology --the invention of Castel Valere-Couturier, who developed the technology for silent discos.
Two year ago, when the headphones where used to bring music and yoga to a beach in Hong Kong (it was a way to get past the sound ordinance,) a new market evolved for yoga events. The technology has been used for yoga classes in the U.S. for the past year.
In addition to Sound Off technology, Atmasphere also customizes sounds and colors in the practices spaces, based on the movement and meaning of each class.
This month, you can enjoy Sound Off yoga and other classes at the Buckhead studio during free themed classes to celebrate the end of summer.
Here is the schedule of free events:
