A sign that USA is thrilled with Atlanta's Todd Chrisley & Co., the network has renewed "Chrisley Knows Best" for a third season less than a week after the second season debut.

"Viewers have embraced the Chrisleys for their witty one-liners, laugh-out-loud moments and heartfelt everyday situations," said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network in a press announcement.  "This family has made an indelible imprint on pop culture, and we're excited to continue the entertaining journey with them in season three."

The opener last week drew series best ratings of 1.6 million overnight viewers for each of the two new episodes. With DVR usage, that jumped to 2.3 million.

The show's second episodes air Tuesday night as the family prepares to move out of its monster-sized mansion, which was sold for $2.1 million in June, according to various real estate websites. The home is owned by the Chrisley Family Trust. Fulton County's last assessment of the home placed its value at $2.46 million for tax purposes.

While his wife Julie appears to be getting back into real estate to help them generate more income, the show last week did not reveal what Chrisley's job is besides being the annoying "Father Knows Best" to his kids.
