Tyler Perry gets fourth OWN show: 'Single Mom's Club'

aired three shows on TBS during his seven years there.

In just a year's time, the Atlanta media mogul has already committed to four shows on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.

OWN already nabbed a hold-over from TBS "For Better or Worse" and commited to a new sitcom "Love Thy Neighbor" and his most successful show on OWN, the drama 'The Haves and the Have Nots." That show had  the biggest series debut of any original series on OWN earlier this week with 2.8 million viewers.

Now Perry is converting an upcoming movie into a TV series called "Single Mom's Club."

The feature film of the same name is set to come out March 14 starring Perry and Nia Long.

He shoots all his movies and TV shows in Atlanta, primarily at this sprawling studios.

According to deadline.com, which broke the news, "The one-hour drama, which centers on a group of single women from different walks of life who form a support group following an incident at their children's school, is written, directed and produced by Perry as part of his producing deal with OWN."
