Zakk Babb, who has been the night jock at Star 94.1, was arrested Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated after crashing into five other automobiles, according to reports in Indianapolis media. Nobody was hurt.

Babb, who lives in Indianapolis, was doing shifts at Indianapolis top 40 station 99.5/WZPL-FM as well as nights at Atlanta's adult pop station Star 94.1. He joined Star last October and was known on air as "Zakk."

He plead not guilty on Wednesday and will pursue a jury trial.

Mike Fowler, general manager at Star 94, has taken Babb off his roster and using subs for now, including program director Tony Lorino.  He said he is likely going to have to find a full-time replacement given the circumstances.

Babb was Star's eighth night jock over the past 14 years: Nudge (2004-2008. Remember "Hot mom check in… what, what?"), Darik Kristofer (2008-2011), former Dave FM jock Tim Orff (2011-2013), Sari Rose (2013), Ali Mac (2013-14) , Donny Michaels (2014-2015) and most recently Andrew Hart (2016).
