Last year, the Atlanta Hawks' most buzzed about theme night was an evening focused around Tinder.

Chasing after millennials who grew up with Nickelodeon shows from the 1990s like "Rugrats," "You Can't Do That On Television" and "Hey Arnold," the team will slime attendees with nostalgia on January 9 against the Chicago Bulls. (Tickets here.)

Steve Koonin, CEO and former TV executive at TBS and TNT, said in a press release that millennials "have their own kids that they bring to the games. This night gives them a unique way to share a little bit of their childhood with them, creating new memories."

In a separate email, he added, "The positive response has been incredible. So have ticket sales."

In cooperation with Nickelodeon, which just started "The Splat" on TeenNick from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. airing iconic shows from that decade, attendees will get to take pictures with costumed characters such as Chuckie from "Rugrats" and the Temple Guard from "Legends of the Hidden Temple." Hawks players from the 1990s such as Dominique Wilkins and Theo Ratliff will be there as well.
