Apollo Nida's preliminary hearing for the federal case accusing him of bank fraud and ID theft, originally scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed. The courts will be closed tomorrow anyway due to bad weather.

At the same time, Nida's attorney filed and received a 30-day continuance Monday with the federal court. In the request, it said: "The ends of justice will be served by granting a 30-day continuance, and those ends outweigh the interests of the public and the defendant in a speedy trial, because such a continuance will conserve judicial resources and will allow the parties sufficient time to discuss a potential resolution of this case."

I'm trying to find out a new date but I'm not sure they even have one yet. The one person who answered the phone at the courthouse said they have a skeleton staff today and the clerk assigned to the case was not in.

Thanks to a couple of nasty fights on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," this past Sunday's episode drew a franchise-record 4.6 million viewers in overnight viewers.

This breaks the record last set on January 5, when 4.5 million watched the show. The Bravo series keeps reaching new heights of popularity in its sixth season.

The January 26 episode, where Apollo Nida beat down Kenya Moore's friend Brandon, brought in 3.9 million viewers. So far this season, the show is averaging about 3.8 million live viewers. (This isn't even counting DVR usage and repeats, which adds several million more.)

The show took the Super Bowl Sunday off but that delay didn't squelch anticipation for this past Sunday, when Kandi Burruss went crazy. We also watched the aftermath and an attempt to make everyone happy at a local sauna.

This coming Sunday, Bravo provides the following teaser:

Ready to move on from the pillow talk saga, Kenya plans a grand masquerade ball and extending the olive branch anoints NeNe the guest of honor.  Kenya also ropes her new friend Marlo in to help find bachelors to be auctioned off at the masquerade for NeNe's favorite charity. However, her event is sent into a tailspin at the 11th hour when she learns that NeNe may not even show up.  Meanwhile, Porsha pins her hopes for a future career as an actress on her make or break audition for Kandi's musical. Unsurprisingly, Mama Joyce's meddling returns with a vengeance, forcing Kandi to face what may be the biggest challenge yet to her already fragile relationship with Todd.
