Lee Daniels, who helped create Fox's massive New York-based hit "Empire," has another music-themed drama up his sleeve for the network, this time set in Atlanta.

Called "Star," it's "set against the backdrop of the music business from a very different perspective" than "Empire," Fox CEO Dana Walden told the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills Thursday.

Will the pilot actually be shot in Atlanta? Too early to say but given our tax credits, it would make sense. And Fox already shoots "Sleepy Hollow" here.

Rather than the family dynamic of "Empire," "Star" will focus on three women trying to break into the music business out of Atlanta. This will be shot as a pilot, which means there is no guarantee it will be turned into a series.
