CNN's Campbell Brown said she's leaving her 8 p.m. show and admitted it was because of low ratings. She espoused a "no bull' philosophy so her honesty is refreshing:

"I have never had much tolerance for others' spin, so I can't imagine trying to stomach my own," she told AP. "The simple fact is that not enough people want to watch my program, and I owe it to myself and to CNN to get out of the way so that CNN can try something else."

Her show has averaged about 574,000 viewers, far behind Nancy Grace at sister station HLN, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and leader over at Fox News Bill O'Reilly.

No word yet from CNN who will replace her. CNN’s entire prime-time lineup has taken a major dive the past year and often is in fourth place behind the other three news networks.
